Welcome to ACX Ebikes. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website acxebikes.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. About us

ACX Ebikes ("ACX", "we", "us", "our") supplies electric bike conversion kits, batteries, bundles and accessories. You can contact us at any time at acxebikes@gmail.com or through the contact page on the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country of residence, to purchase from the Site. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

3. Products

We make every effort to display our products, their specifications, colours and images as accurately as possible. Minor variations in appearance, packaging and included accessories may occur between production batches. Wheel sizes, display types and battery capacities are as selected by you at checkout; please check your order carefully before completing payment, as it is your responsibility to select the correct options for your bike.

All products are sold for use in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Conversion kits must be installed correctly and used responsibly. Electric bike regulations (including motor power and speed limits) vary by country and region and it is your responsibility to check and comply with the laws that apply where you ride.

4. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, not that we have accepted it. A contract is formed only when your order is dispatched. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, you will receive a full refund.

5. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in the currency selected on the Site and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Shipping charges are calculated and displayed before you complete your purchase. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Payment is taken in full at the time of order through the secure payment methods offered at checkout. Financing and instalment options are provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms and eligibility checks.

6. Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes, including codes issued through our on-site promotions, are valid for the period stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, are limited to one use per customer unless stated otherwise, and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. We may withdraw or amend a promotion at any time.

7. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times, shipping methods and any duties or import charges are described in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided. Please inspect your parcel on arrival and report any visible damage to us within 48 hours with photographs so that we can help you quickly.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, which explains what is and is not covered. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, which apply in addition to the rights set out in our policies.

9. Warranty

Our products are covered against manufacturing defects for the period stated on the relevant product page. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidents, water ingress, modification, normal wear and tear, or use outside the manufacturer's specifications. Batteries are consumable items and gradual loss of capacity over time is not a defect. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number, a description of the problem and supporting photos or video.

10. Safety and responsible use

Electric bike conversion kits involve high-power electrical components. You are responsible for installing the kit correctly (or having it installed by a competent person), using a compatible bike and brakes rated for the added speed and weight, wearing appropriate protective equipment, and riding safely and lawfully. Never modify, puncture, short-circuit or expose batteries to heat or water. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage resulting from improper installation, unsafe riding or use of the products in breach of applicable laws.

11. Your account and conduct

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, to copy or scrape its content, or to submit false reviews or information.

12. Reviews and user content

By submitting a review, photo, video or other content to the Site or our social channels, you grant ACX Ebikes a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and share that content in connection with our business. You confirm the content is your own, is genuine, and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including the ACX Ebikes name, logo, designs, text, images and videos, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use it without our prior written permission.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACX Ebikes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit or enjoyment, arising from your use of the Site or the products. Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you consent to that processing.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Please review this page periodically.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
